1. Stick with it.
If you have a claim application, than you must believe in the truth of this assertion. Let not the time to discourage, delay or mountain of paperwork, what you sell by the granting of the law. Stay focused and positive.

I know that your life is complicated, and I know that the whole process seems to confuse and discourage them. It is not intended to prevent legitimate claims from doing it, but it is designed to filter out the lazy and ignorant.

You are not rewarded with what you think you deserve, but by what you show in the eyes of the law.
4th Put your ego aside.
This is a situation where you ask me, the government of its obligation to meet you and give you the support and services that you deserve. Social Security Disability is not a charity, and it is not love. Stop thinking you are somehow mooching from the factory or you do not really need it for some reason. You and your family in the system paid for a reason.
Further, not the real extent of your injury. This does not hard workers, it just makes you stupid and stubborn. There are no do-overs in the legal world, and if you create a degree of disability, it is very difficult to start the process again and show a different level of impairment or injury.
